Hi everyone. I'm having a little trouble with the word wrap settings. I've set it to wrap at column 80, and I've tried all four of the wrap options, but nothing ever happens when I hit col. 80, the text just keeps going. Is there an extra step I'm missing?

    Thanks,
    John

    P.S. I'm using version 11.00a+

First you should update to current version 11.20b. This update is free for registered owners of UltraEdit v11 and according to history in readme.txt some bugs with wrapped lines were fixed.

Second you must have activated Default Word Wrap On For Each File or you use Edit - Toggle Word-Wrap to activate word wrap for each file you want it before starting editing.

And the current used wrap settings depends on the file extension. You can set individual wrap settings for each file extension - see extensions drop down list in the configuration dialog about word wrapping. For new files which are not saved and so has no file extension the wrapping must be enabled for the Default group.

You should use Wrap after column # or Wrap after column #, insert CR/LF.
