Always when I try to start my own help file inside UES (15.30.0.14 and 15.30.0.13) help menu, I got this error:

An error has occurred. The application will be shut down. (see attachment)

My help files added to the help menu are *.chm files with full path like this:

C:\dev\devbin\topdown90\topdown90.chm

I suggest to report this serious issue to IDM support by email.

I recommend not adding the CHM file to the crash reporting email as emails with a *.chm file attached are often blocked. Either add to the crash reporting email a link from which the help file can be downloaded or write in reporting email that the help file is sent with a second email. The second email should contain the help file with some additional words in body of the email. Emails with just a file attached and no text are blocked also very often.

A workaround for this serious issue might be using 32-bit UEStudio v15.30.

THX, I will send an mail to the support. This problem is with all *.chm files and the 64 bit version. 32 bit works fine.

Update info: This serious issue of 64-bit UEStudio v15.30.0.xx and 64-bit UltraEdit v22.20.0.xx was fixed with UES 15.30.0.18 and UE v22.20.0.49.
