According to the announcement and email the first release of 2023 was made on the 24th April, on my system in the UK there is no update available for either UEStudio or Ultraedit. Does anyone have this? Is it just an eventual consistency thing?
UltraEdit/UEStudio for Windows v2023.0.0.41 is not yet offered via the built-in update feature. This is usual for a major release with lots of new features. UE/UES users can download the installer executables or MSI file directly from the UE/UES downloads page on being interested in the newest version and run the installation to upgrade. In a few weeks the update server will offer also the new major version for updates with built-in update feature, perhaps with some fixes already applied for issues found and reported by the users making the update manually.

Then I guess that should be part of the messaging in the broadcast email to subscribers. I must have missed this in the previous more than 25 years that I've been a user .
I suggest recommending support of UltraEdit, Inc. with an email writing in a newsletter more detailed how to get the newest released version.
The last newsletter with subject Two Great Things This Week: UltraEdit 2023.0 and Perpetual All Access! has three times the link to the blog post UltraEdit 2023.0 release highlights which has at top the links to the UltraEdit and UEStudio download pages. It is not written anywhere that the upgrade is not yet possible with the built-in update feature.
