No, except you "crack" the uedit32.exe with UltraEdit in hex mode and replace .bak with .abc. Have you noticed the backup configuration options at Configuration - File Handling - Backup?
I like the feature to append .bak and to save all backups in a specified directory on my temp drive and not in my project directories on the data drive holding my projects directories clean.
