    I am using UltraEdit v12.10+3.
Is there anyway to use the keyboard to get to the Context menu in the File tree view? That is if my focus in the File Tree View in the Explorer tab and I right click I get a context menu. I want to be able to get that menu using the keyboard. Is this possible?

I think: No! Even the Windows standard hot key Shift+F10 for opening the context menu is not working in the File Tree View area.

Shift+F10 is also not working in the edit window of UE v12.x until the ghost key mapping of Shift+F10 is removed as described at "Shift+F10 not showing context menu in V12". You already know that fact.

On most recent keyboards there is a "menu key" that you can press to open the context menu, and this is working for me in the file tree view.

Here's what it looks like in case you don't know: http://stagerace.com/2003/contents/supp ... %20key.jpg

          Hi scallanh

Yes, the context menu key on my keyboard works as you described. Thanks. Just what I was looking for.

          Cheers

After having removed the Ghost assignment to the [Shift+F10] key as suggested by Mofi, I still can't get [Shift+F10] to work in the Explorer Tree View.

The Context Menu Key works in the Tree View and [Shift+F10] works in the main editor window...

            Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

            Windows XP, UE 12.10+3

            TIA,
            Paolo

              Hi PaoloFCantoni

Yes, I can confirm this behaviour. My Shift+F10 key works as a context menu key if the focus is in the main editor window but does not work if the focus is in the File Tree view.

Ah, yes, the "menu key" works. Thanks scallanh! On my computers Shift+F10 is not working in the File Tree View only in the main edit window.
