I have not seen a post on this yet, so here it is.
The current version of cTags does not support Php5 very well. However, there are some patches available.
If you are interested in recompiling your own version of ctags, here is a site that talks about the patch and the changes that you need to make to the php.c file in the ctags directory: http://blog.bitflux.ch/archive/2004/04/ ... r_php.html
There is also a post on the ctags sourceforge site where a user has already recompiled and is distributing a windows exe for ctags with pho5 support.
I downloaded it and it seems to work fine with php5. Here is the site: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/foru ... um_id=6668
The URL is good, however, I have noticed that somethimes the sourgeforge site gives you an error when going to the page. Just be patient it does eventually load. i think I had to try it 3 or 4 times before it would load the page.
Hope this helps.
