I am running UE from a network location and when I use help the topics will load but when and click on any topic, I get the error message: "The page cannot be displayed" . Is there some trick to get UE help to work when running the application from a network location?

Apparently there is...
See this post (from another product - Sparx Enterprise Architect) where a user was having problems with their help files...
-----------------------
There was a Windows security update last June [KB896358] that prevented opening .chm files from network drives. If that's your problem, you can either copy the help file to a local drive or remove the security update.

There is no such thing as an inconsistently correct system...

I have had also this problem a few months ago and looked at Microsoft's homepage for a workaround and found it. Import following registry file to the registry of your computers. This will allow opening chm files from local and network drives, but still not from WWW or via a remote connection.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions]
"MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000001
The information used to create this registry file was taken from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896358 and from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896054

Best regards from an UC/UE/UES for Windows user from Austria
Thanks for the responses. The registry change fixed the problem and I have added it to my registry script for new computers.
CHM help file does not show the help pages
I just changed to a new laptop with Vista and installed Ultraedit 13.00 and hotfix +7. The help file does not display the pages - only the table of contents. I am using IE7. Does anyone know a workaround?
Thanks,
Maggie

Re: CHM help file does not show the help pages
Right-click the chm file and look at the Properties - if you see an "Unblock" button, try clicking it.
If that doesn't work, make sure there's not a "#" character anywhere in your file path.
