I've looked around and can't find a way to do this.
Is there any way to get Hex Mode to display all characters on the right? Instead of just the printable ones and .s for the 'non-printable' ones?
You can see what I'm talking about by going to the 'View' menu and picking ASCII table. Those characters on the far left is what I want to display on the right side of the Hex editing window. The smiley guys, card suits, notes, etc.
I tried changing my font to Terminal, and a few other things, but I can't get it to display all of the characters no matter what I do.
My problem is that I'm much more familiar with looking at hex data as a set of characters than as hex values, (I had an old DOS hex editor I really liked which showed all characters.)
Thanks much if anyone has any information.
