How to configure syntax highlighting for SQL language
On this website there is the menu Products. If you move the mouse over this menu you will see at bottom Extra downloads with Word files. Click on this item and a page is loaded which first tells you how to add a language definition to an existing wordfile like standard wordfile Wordfile.txt in the UE/UES program directory.
After reading this little help scroll down the list of available wordfiles, choose one of the SQL wordfiles and save it on your computer or copy the content from your browser to clipboard if you view the plain ASCII text file in the browser instead of saving it to your hard disk. Open the wordfile for SQL in UltraEdit and copy everything of this file to the clipboard if not already done from internet browser.
In UltraEdit press the button Open at Advanced - Configuration - Editor Display - Syntax Highlighting. This will open the wordfile you currently use. Close the configuration dialog with button Cancel. At end of the wordfile paste the SQL language definition from clipboard and check the language number as described on the webpage. Save the wordfile and open again Advanced - Configuration - Editor Display - Syntax Highlighting to specify the colors, fonts, styles, ... for the new SQL language. You should have open a SQL file to see how it looks like with the settings you currently have defined.
