    Hi all,

normally I am using the text editor which comes within Tasking compiler.
Using this editor is is possible that for example when you just move/hover with the mouse cursor onto a variable or something else, then automatically for example the definition or usage of this variable somewhere else inside my project is shown/highlighted (SEE ATTCHEMENT).

How is this possible in UltraEdit?

    Thanks so much

Yes, the Tasking EDE (Embedded Development Environment) has an IntelliSense feature. UltraEdit is a general text editor which can be highly customized and extended. But UltraEdit is not a development environment tool.

You have to purchase UEStudio which is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tool which has Language Intelligence features like IntelliTips and supports also the Tasking compilers. See product pages of UEStudio for more details.

Hint: The graphic format PNG (portable network graphics) is much better for screenshots than JPG because it produces much smaller files and has a lossless compression algorithm (= highest quality). I'm sure your graphic program supports PNG because it is an open standard developed for the WWW and supported by all graphic browsers. Conversion of a JPG to PNG does not make sense because JPG has already added many "wrong" pixels and so the lossless PNG compression needs much more bytes to save a "crispy" JPG image.
