I'm using Ultraedit since a long time. I never had problems with it.
Now the Menu bar with all menu points is disappeared.
The Icons are still on the right place.

How can I fix it? I use Version 10.20c

    Thx

Oh, that's bad because v10.20x has stored the menu in the registry by default and it looks like some menu registry settings are corrupt.

      First try following:

Open uedit32.ini with Notepad and change following value from 0 to 1:

      [Settings]
      Reset Menus=1

Start UltraEdit and look if the default menu is back.

If the menu is still not visible, you have to start Regedit and navigate to:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraEdit

Export this branch to a *.reg file and delete either whole UltraEdit branch or only the keys which contain menu like EnglishMenu_Default~!@#$#$%^.

Start UltraEdit and hopefully the menu is back. Then you can use the entries in the reg file to restore your settings as much as possible. Most settings are stored by default in uedit32.ini.

Thanks a lot Mofi for your help. Unfortunately the problem still existed, after doing your two fixes. So I thought to reinstall the 10.20c Version again; which did not solve the problem too.
Now I dedicated to upgrade to the new Version (12.10a) which works fine again.

Thanks again for support. Happy coding :-)
