Resetting Sort Defaults

For the longest time, I have been using the sort feature of ultraedit without making any changes to the advanced settings since the program was installed. Using the installation defaults, I have been able to sort files of extreme size in relativle little time. The other day I needed to make key changes to do a very specific sort. This worked, but I have not been able to get back to that original default. I have tried many things, but to no avail. My sorts of large files is taking so long, I am having to end task so I can get other work done. How can I get the sorting back to it's original settings?

I know some question are going to come up, so let me see if I can head them off.

Q: How Large is a Large File.
A: The current file I am working with is 132 Bytes long, and 26,000 lines.

Q: What setting have you tried?
A: I have tried to set the key back to 0 start, 0 end (Nothing sorts). I have tried 0 start, -1 end, and the sort went on for about 45 minutes before I canceled it.

Q: How long did it take before?
A: The same file listed above (or at least of similar size) took about 30 seconds to sort.

      The default Sort settings are:

      Sort Order: Ascending

      Remove Duplicates: not checked
      Ignore Case: not checked
      Numeric Sort: not checked

      Sort Columns - Key 1: 1 -1
      Sort Columns - Key 2: 0 0
      Sort Columns - Key 3: 0 0
      Sort Columns - Key 4: 0 0

      Use Locale: not checked
Alternate sort not using virtual memory: not checked

There is a help for the Advanced Sort/Options. Simply press key F1 when the dialog is open to see the help. Value 0 for start column means from current cursor position. Value 1 means start of the line (= column 1). Value -1 in the end column means to end of the line. Every key after the key with -1 in the end column is ignored. More details see help.
