- I've switched to Linux in the last 6 months, and I've banged my head against the wall looking for a Ruby on Rails IDE that doesn't take up 2 Terabytes of Ram (RadRails, NetBeans). The GNU/Linux 30 year old editors like Vim and Emacs just don't cut it either. "Edit" mode? Ctrl-X Ctrl-0 to open a file...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I've found that both the right-click and the standard "File".."Edit"..etc sub-menus seem to fade-in very slowly after using UltraEdit for an hour or so. I usually deal with 7-8 files at a time, and sometimes log files which are mid-size to big (10MB). Is there anything I can do to make the menus app...Posted in Editor Display

- Is there a way to get a macro to hit the Function keys (F1...F12)? I use F9, F8, and F7 to show the function list, the file tree view, and the files in project. I would like to create a macro that does shows/hides all three windows at one time. Thanks, --NatePosted in Macros
