- UE for OSX does not use aSpell or any other 3rd party spell checker like UltraEdit for Windows. It uses the OSX native spell checker. - I just tried this UE 3.3.04 .... OSX 10.7.5 when I type two characters.. the dropdown box appears.. first word is BLUE BOLD... I can use the arrows to move up and down within the box, and pressing RETURN completes the currently selected word. - I am running Lion 10.7.5 and UE 3.2.0.10 and while I normally use the same font but at size 18 (glasses :) ) I switch down to 12 and tested this. Works just fine for me.... I even pasted you example text.... and everything is working as it should.Posted in UltraEdit for Mac General Discussion

- I would change to CMD-SHIFT-I if it were me... to stay with the OSX shortcut key conventions. CTRL is more Windows, while CMD is more OSX Interesting... attempting to enter CMD-SHIFT results in CTRL-SHIFT and trying to enter CTRL-SHIFT results in SHIFT-XCTRL So I would say that might be a bugPosted in UltraEdit for Mac General Discussion

- As I stated.... UEM sets the file associations in OSX FINDER..... ONCE..... if you use FINDER to change that association via the "GET INFO" panel..... it over-rides UEM file filters.... please remember.... just because Windows and UEW do something does not mean that OSX and UEM are even close to doi...Posted in UltraEdit for Mac General Discussion

- Changing the File Type Associations is located here. PREFERENCES -> FILE FILTERS NOTE one VERY important thing.
