- One feature I miss from TextMate is the ability to open a list of files without loading any into the editor. For example, if I type "mate *" it basically creates a project on the fly containing everything in and below the current directory. This is much nicer than manually creating a project for the...Posted in UltraEdit for Mac General Discussion

- I have the slowness problem with my MacPro and an older MacBook Pro. Strangely, I just got a new MacBook Pro and used Migration Assistant to clone my old one and it doesn't have the performance problems. From a software perspective the two laptops should be identical, so I'm not entirely sure why on...Posted in UltraEdit for Mac General Discussion

Also, I think the rule should apply based on the last character, not the presence of a character in a line at all. Otherwise, I'd think UE for Mac would incorrectly indent this as well: in...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- I don't have UE installed on Win/Linux or I'd test this myself, but with UE for Mac if I do "void MyObj::fn()" and hit ENTER the cursor ends up indented instead of lined up under the 'v'. Looking at the wordfile for C/C++ I have: /Indent Strings = "{" "if" "else" ":" So this indent shouldn't be occu...Posted in Syntax Highlighting
