I haven't tried the feature, but do you f.ex have "trim trailing spaces on save" enabled? If I were you I'd diff the files created and see what differences there are. It might lead you to what is wrong.

Yes, it was fixed. I forgot I posted about it, so sorry for not updating this thread. IDM sent me a release to test a few weeks ago, and it was fixed in that one (think it was 1017 as you said, currently on 1021 testing another issue).

What I did was assign F2 to AdvancedUserTool2, which turns bold, also, F2 shows up as the hot-key for the command under the Advanced menu. It works through out the session it seems, then it's gone. The previous binding of F2 is not restored tho. I also have a key-binding for AdvancedUserTool1 which ...

Actually I had this happening to me last week (checking now, and one of the mappings has disappeared again >_<). This must've started some weeks ago tho, as I don't use the specific tool often, I didn't notice it earlier. Quite annoying. This is using 15.10.0.1031.

Since you copy spaces when you select the column with 2918+, you also get them when you paste, which is what I would expect. Since the selection is a "box" and not "free-width-per-line". The length is equal to the longest line in the selection.
