- I still cannot get the Python code folding working, only partly. I use the default Python wordfile that came with the latest (24.10) Portable version of UEm. No other Python word files are present. The IF's do not get recognized. Some do, most don't. Sometimes the IF does not get recognized, the ELS...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Hi phaeton, that did not do the trick for me. However it made me look into my wordfile again. Since I use a lot of PHP and HTML in one script, I have my wordfile setup to have PHP files in the HTML section: HTML: File Extensions = HTM HTML SHTML HTT HTX PHP INC PHP5 PHP3 PHP4 XML: File Extensions = ...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Mick, did you use the mousewheel to scroll? On every computer I use, the color highlighting stopped after page 1, and only the numbers (red) and strings (grey) keep their coloring.Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Try start "c:\program files\ultraedit\uedit32.exe" "%1" and renaming the ed.bat to ed.cmd. You can also try start C:\PROGRA~1\ULTRAED~1\uedit32.exe "%1". And yes, the trailing % must be in there for a NT style command script... Rembember also that the default installation path of UltraEdit 11 is not...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Apparently. I'd find it horribly annoying if my cursor jumped to a different column when I pressed the down arrow. . That's why I have asked if there was a setting for this. Because I understand that allthough this is extremely helpfull for me, somebody else may disagree ;-) That's because by defau...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- I get the same problem with your as well as all my php files in 11.10a+2. I think it is the same bug that happens at the print and print preview losing its syntax coloring except the numbers (red) and the strings (gray). As far as I know, support is looking into this.Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Thanks Scorpion. Maybe you have to be a (former) TextPad user to really appriciate this kind of cursor behaviour. I am stepping over from Textpad to UE because of the lack of functionality in TextPad and the fact they are taking their customers not serious enough to improve their product on a regula...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- When I start on column 10 and do some editing, is there a way to go back to column 10 when I press arrow down? Now UE stays on the last column edited and I have to go back to column 10 to start changing the next line. Other text editors have these feature (on by default). Maybe I have overlooked som...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- It would be nice to have a "copy formatted" option in UE. That way you can copy all text including color formatting to another program. Such an option would surely have my vote 8) .Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- I like the new ones better than the old ones big time! But I think the gui could be better and more slick looking too.Posted in Editor Display
