I've noticed that the file association combobox sometimes autocompletes itself. In my case, if I try to register ".s", when the combobox loses focus, it autocompletes to ".sol", which is a file type associated with some other program (flashplayer IIRC). Very strange... Jose

Neil, have you used Registry Mechanic to "fix" your registry? I did a fresh reinstall due to a disk failure and everything worked fine in UEStudio until I used Registry Mechanic. Now, strange things happen again with file associations. Regards, Jose

I reported the bug to IDM in UEStudio a LONG time ago, but has not yet been solved. I experience the same problem with the latest release. Regards, Jose

That phenomenon usually happens when you check the option which reads something like "Setting this may improve display issues with Cleartype fonts on Windows XP" and the font used is not Truetype. Uncheck that option or use Courier New instead of Courier (if the font is not Truetype) Jose
