I would like to hear if there are any solutions to this, I too find the new file tab font to be very tiny. One thing that may be related is that in my display settings, my screen res is 1280x1024 and my DPI setting is for Large Fonts (120 dpi). I wonder if this is related. It wasn't a problem though...
