- Well you could use my User Tool which should work with UEStudio, to get Git, Mercurial, SVN via Tortoise. Of course you could add other VCS's as well...or other tools. Anyways food for thought.Posted in Workspace Management

- Okay I now package a Lite version...only difference is no icon's are displayed...which makes a big difference on slower systems. Would really like to see someone write a C or C++ version of this. :) For one thing it would be a hell of a lot smaller, if not massively faster.Posted in Custom User Tools/Tool Configuration

- You are certainly welcome...but you don't sound all that pleased. I'm sure you can come up with a cleaner solution...as what I did was rather thrown together. Hehe a redneck coding job. :)Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Edit as you see fit. Launch it anyway you see fit...as a user tool or a batch script that launches UE & the script together...or what have you. It's designed to run in the background, til a HotKey Combo is intercepted...then it does something...it will automatically exit when UE does, but it can be ...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- VCSmenu (Download via MediaFire) http://imageshack.com/a/img838/3184/pc56.png This is a User Tool that allows you to integrate one or more Version Control Systems like Git, Mercurial, SVN. http://imageshack.com/a/img62/8979/0lj9.png Now it already comes packaged with Menu INI's for TortoiseGit , To...Posted in Custom User Tools/Tool Configuration

- Give me some dummy data and I'll see if I can't automate it with AutoIt. ** Edit ** Okay this doesn't sync...but it'll add accounts from FileZilla. If you have any accounts already in UltraEdit be sure to back them up before running this. It "should" do the right thing...but hasn't been heavily test...Posted in FTP/SFTP / SSH/Telnet

- ahh I do see that I misunderstood. Well chances are that the " Web Developer " plugin for Firefox likely has this covered. Past that...could do it, if he copied the url into memory, then run AutoIt against it, to do the required pruning and appending to hand it off to UE. Else paste the url into UE,...Posted in Scripts

- This isn't really a script issue...more a user tool issue. Anyways you should be able to create a User Tool and use one of the following: start /max %modify% start /max %sel% start /max %sel%%n%e The above will start the webpage in the system default browser...you can of course modify it to launch c...Posted in Scripts

- GenericVCS Now the file linked to above depending on your Anti-Virus software may trigger a false positive, because the executable uses UPX compression. This is fine, let your Anti-Virus software nuke it...it just means you'll have to compile the source code yourself...not a big deal. AutoIt can be...Posted in Custom User Tools/Tool Configuration

- I came across a post on StackOverFlow while looking for a way to execute multiple commands in a single line in DOS...which is for an AutoIt script I'm helping to design for making it easier to do VCS in UltraEdit. Anyways point being is that one right now wouldn't need to use a batch script for a mo...Posted in Custom User Tools/Tool Configuration

- It would be nice if UE would detect then add Menu & toolbars for detected Version Controls. Like TortoiseSVN , TortoiseGit , TortoiseHg , TortoiseCVS . I'm just getting started with playing with TortoiseGit...and well there are a lot of actions...and probably a godly amount of variations that I don'...Posted in Custom User Tools/Tool Configuration
