Hi, Well I've tried what you say, but I don't see any change.  What I find weird is that I see this "bug" only with UE. As you asked, I contribute my Windows theme and my UE (classic) theme.

I've start my new job a few month ago. Then I'd want to install UE on my new PC. But, I figured out that UE is not correctly displayed.  The problem is shown on the following snapshot: ue_display_ko.png I talk about the wide gray border around the application window of UltraEdit running on Windows 7...

Thanks for this very interesting answer. I didn't know that it was possible to use Perl regular expression in function list. I better known this type of regex, not so much but a bit better than UE regex. From all of your explanation, I will be able to update and/or add new functions.

I've another little question. I've updated the script to let the user enter the sign to align, but in order to be more efficient, I'm wondering if it's possible to keep (store?) the last value, given by user, between each call of the script? (during the same session of UltraEdit)

Thanks mofi for your example and your explanations. I think I keep both, because as you say, it's faster on few lines, which is the most case on my project, so in this case I will use "arrays" and in other cases I will use "new file".
