- Yes, you are missing the idea that I am going to the ftp/sftp browser, not opening a file through ftp. Try this: File -> FTP -> FTP/SFTP Browser. This opens a completely different window - hence my question about being able to run the browser stand-alone.Posted in FTP/SFTP / SSH/Telnet

- Is there any way to change the initial *local* directory for ftp/sftp to start in? It seems to always start in C:\. I would like it to start in the directory/drive that I have already navigated to in UE. For example, I navigate to D:\dir1\dir2\dir3\ and open file foo.txt. Now if I open ftp/sftp, I w...Posted in FTP/SFTP / SSH/Telnet

- Are you talking about local files or files opened up over ftp? I can get both files to reopen as expected. What version are you running? I have 11.00.b+1 and I turned on the option through the menu: Advanced -> Configuration -> General (tab) -> File Handling Items -> Reload files previously open on ...Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- The workaround was to add a context menu entry for all programs, which use .prj files and set the most needed one as default. The default association is activated by double clicking on the file. How do you add a context menu entry? Is that a UE thing? Or is it a Windows thing? Are you talking about...Posted in Projects/Workspace

- Being new, I am still looking around and found this old thread. But the old forum referenced no longer exists. What was the workaround for UE specific prj files? One thing that I found that seems to work for now is to hexedit the uedit32.exe using UltraEdit and replace the little "prj"s with "pru"s....Posted in Projects/Workspace

- Why is the wordfile limited to 20 languages? Is it a memory or design issue? Are there thoughts of expanding it in the future? Also, why is it in one file? Are there thoughts of future enhancements that might include making this a configuration pointing to individual word files for each language? Th...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- What about defining custom folds? I don't want curly braces to be the fold points for my php. Instead I want #Region and #End Region to be my fold points, but entering these into the Open and Close fold lines in the wordfile does nothing at all. Maybe you have defined "#" as a comment? Post the par...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- WOW! You are a wealth of knowledge! "Advanced User" above your avatar is quite accurate! Thanks again for your insight. BTW, I am looking more into the help files now. Initially I wanted to get up and running and was a bit overwelmed with the amount of info in the help files, but now things are begi...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Thanks! Originally, I read your advise a few times and was a little confused as to how it applied to my example. Now that you showed the difference, I see that you were giving me more general rules - more info on how to properly configure. Thanks! It makes much more sense now! Just so I fully unders...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- You are awesome! Thanks! Although I do not see a difference in the highlighting of option 1 or 3, either one let my highlighting continue beyond the Developer's Report string. Thanks! - ChrisPosted in Syntax Highlighting

- Hi, all! I am trying to define a wordfile entry to handle syntax highlighting for Autosys jil files. These files contain comments and autosys jil commands. I started with some other wordfile entry and hacked at it a little, but now I have noticed that a single quote in the middle of a double quoted ...Posted in Syntax Highlighting
