- I don't know the answer to this. I've used Lucida Console in UE for years without issue except when I reduce font size to the point where some of the letters get cut off due to UE's spacing issues. Only reason I'm responding is to thank you for making me aware of the Consolas font - very nice.Posted in Editor Display

- As an exercise I've just tried this with a 175,868-bit text file and had no problem with restoration. I'm working with UE14, Vista Ultimate and 4Gb RAM, though, although the 32-bit operating system is only supposed to recognize about 2.5Gb RAM.Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- It doesn't affect editing by column. Only the appearance on the screen is affected.Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- If available on your computer, have you tried Letter Gothic, Lucida Sans Typewriter and/or Lucida Console? They're listed in my fonts as true type fonts. I've used Lucida Console without any trouble.Posted in Editor Display

- I'm not sure if you're using UE11 or not, but in UltraEdit-32, there's a box you can check in the "Replace Text" area to replace text only in the selected area - works like a charm.Posted in Find/Replace/Regular Expressions
