- I like using the Quick Access Toolbar, But when a new version of UE or UES gets installed, my previous settings are wiped. On other products with Quick Access Toolbars (such as Microsoft Office), there is a button to save the config, but with UE/UES there isn't. So, how can I save the settings fo...Posted in Editor Display

- The second option is ignored when only 1 file is opened via the context menu. For 1 file only the first option is important. Hi Mofi, Is this true for subsequent individual files via context? For me, if I open UE with (one or more) files in the file tabs. Then try to open a another file with a cont...Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- If the second of the two checkboxes below is marked and the first one NOT , you will still get multiple instances. Is this the designed behaviour (as of v15.00.0.1046)? From Help file: Allow multiple instances The Multiple Instances item determines if another instance of the editor is opened if the ...Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- Hi Everyone, The New Word files for V15 look really NEAT! And IDM have incorporated a couple of my requests over the years. However this one hasn't been... Given the new functionality, is there any way to achieve this or should I put in another request? It would seem to be relatively easy now... Jus...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Hi, I know I should know better, but it's a while since I had to change my UltraEdit configuration. Vistaaaaagh! decided it would reset them for me. I needed to re-add a couple of file associations and I forgot to add the leading "dot". UltraEdit silently fails and does not attempt the association. ...Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- I support this idea - we have similar problems with a number of SQL dialects and also Visual Basic dialects. It would also be very useful if the included definition were not necessarily from the current Wordfile. This would allow project specific wordfiles to be cascaded from a common base. - Thanks for that... I was looking on the status bar... There should still be an indication there. The Status Bar is for status information. The state of the button is an auxiliary indicator. PaoloPosted in Configuration/INI Settings

- Works fine for me (on 13.10+4) However, I note that there doesn't seem to be an indicator that word wrap is active or not - which would probably be useful. PaoloPosted in Configuration/INI Settings

- Hi ALL, UE 13 RC1 appears to have fixed the bug I noted above. Now I'm keen to make use of this newly working functionality. However to make it work I need a selection of fixed pitch fonts... Can any one suggest any (other than Courier New and Dina)? TIA, PaoloPosted in Syntax Highlighting

- Yes John, One of your problems is exactly to do with the whitespace in your code. The default Function lists for C++ assume that everything starts in column 1. If you replace "% with "%[ ^t]++ at the start of the function strings - this should solve your main problem. HTH, PaoloPosted in Syntax Highlighting

- IDM have, at last, confirmed the bug... As I said in the first post, it's a doozy and takes a while to isolate. PaoloPosted in Syntax Highlighting
