Has anyone else seen this similar behavior? I never had issues when using 16.x and older versions. The tool will literally become unresponsive for up to several minutes at a time and seems to be occurring fairly frequently for me. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I'm using version 17.00.0.1030...

Has anyone else seen this? If so, how do I fix it? I clearly see the UETMPLTE.DAT file in the installed directory but need to get the tool to recognize it.

I haven't seen the problem in a few days and I'm using 13.00+3. Excellent work in coming up with a test case! :D I'll certainly report if I see the problem again.

Me too! A few Ctrl-Z's and I'm good to go. Hopefully some day UltraEdit will be able to reproduce and/or fix this issue. =)

Just upgraded to 13.00 and this problem is still there. Makes sense because I didn't see anything about it in the release notes. :(

This seems to work good EXCEPT for lines with comments on them. For example, in VHDL the comment is "--", so lines with tabs preceded by the comments don't show up this way. Do you know if there is any way around this?
