- Am trying to change dates within hundreds of text files in a directory where the original date format is MM/DD/YYYY and the final desired format is YYYYMMDD. Seems hard to do without variables. - Is there still no way to save a macro to a command? Seems like an obvious requirement. I think that several commonly used macros saved as commands (user tool) and loaded to the toolbar with your own icons would significantly improve user productivity. - mrainey56, Thanks again. This time it worked. Little embarrased that I didn't turn on reg expressions. With the difference between Unix regexp and UEdit I guess I thought his would be on by default. When I checked the box it found and deleted "most" of them.
