- Thank you for getting back to me. Showing the path works for me in Project and Open tabs, but in the Open tab I get what I'd expect, i.e. c:\users\[username]\Documents\[mydirname]\ and so on. In my case this goes 3 or 4 levels down (it's relevant), which isn't bad, imho. So, what I see is: C:\Users\...Posted in Editor Display

- Win 7 64-bit, UE 15.20.0.1022: I'm unable to make paths appear in the Project and Open tabs of the file tree. I have "Display full paths in project list" turned on. Is there something else I need to do to get this to work? Thanks.Posted in Editor Display

- I'll paste what I've been using at the end of this message. I sent a report to UE and they confirmed the problem. "Thanks for your message and for the feedback. I was able to reproduce what you are seeing. Currently there is not a way to support what you are looking for. You can try the workaround y...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- I tried and cannot reproduce this problem either (in UltraEdit 12.20a+4). From this I'm guessing that something on your PC is causing the glitch. I'd be surprised if it's a setting in UE because I can't imagine there'd be any use for it. Because you mentioned a difference when you select the text fr...Posted in UEStudio General Discussion

- I actually like UE being associated with HTML files (but I spend a lot of time working with them). In order to be able to view an HTML file in a browser, I added tools for each of my browsers. Here's my Firefox tool: Command tab ---------------- Menu Item Name: Firefox Browser Command Line: C:\apps\...Posted in UEStudio General Discussion

- Hi. Thanks again. Yes, I've been closing, restarting every time I take another whack at this, and I've done that quite a few times, lol. I'm pretty standard: Windows Professional 2000, fully patched. UE up-to-date. UE handles text, HTML, JavaScript (and basic stuff like INI files) -- for HTML I star...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- I must be doing something wrong. When I change delimiters to omit <> /Delimiters = ~!@$%^&*()+=|\{}[]:;"' , .? (for the /L3"HTML" HTML_LANG {etc.} section) the only difference I see is that, as you stated, in a <span> example the final > is no longer highlighted. <b> and </b> both break at the < if ...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hi. Thank you for the reply. I'll probably try removing the <> characters just to take a look at how that will affect the editor. One odd thing though. When short (single, no attribute) tags are broken by wrapping they no longer are highlighted. It could be something I've inadvertently done to UE I ...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- There's probably a config option to change this behavior, but if so I have not found it. When I have text wrap on, HTML tags in the wrapping zone will break within the tag even when the tag has no attribute, i.e.: <b> could break at < | b>, <b |>; same idea with </b>. Can this behavior be turned off...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- You probably know much of the following, but I'll provide all the info regarding this just in case. As you know, in your case UltraEdit is associated with HTML files, and this includes affecting the built-in Show File in Browser feature (as you've seen). There's an easy way to do what you want, it j...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion
