- Thanks Mofi I changed UEStudio.rb0 back to the original, and copied over uedit64u.in0 to UEStudiou.in0. Now the Advanced tab has disappeared, and the contents of the Advanced tab are now in a new Home tab with some (not all) of my commands appended at the end. So it seems that restoring your ribbon...Posted in UEStudio General Discussion

This is what I have done to try and set-up UEStudio, restoring from backups of UltraEdit: Imported Settings from an UltraEdit backup: In UltraEdit: Advanced Tab | Backup settings ▼ | Export settings In UEStudio: Advanced Tab | Backup settings ▼ | Import settings and then s...Posted in UEStudio General Discussion

- Hello This is an old post that has been somewhat helpful, but I was looking for some up-to-date information on how to import all UE settings into UEStudio. For example the UEStudio.ini file does not exist on my system, but I take it that the latest file is UEStudiou.ini. I am wanting to import all u...Posted in UEStudio General Discussion

- Does this change need to be placed in uedit64u.ini if running 64-bit? I have made these changes in that file but the font has not changed. EDIT: The uedit64u.ini file is the correct file. I have just realized that having the Tab | Right-Click | File tabs | Dockable option unchecked will not allow th...Posted in Editor Display

- Thanks for your time Mofi. I possibly didn’t describe the scenario well enough. I have attached two screenshots that show type of text files I deal with. The first shows a column mode selection, and the second shows the result I wish to achieve, which is all leading spaces to the right of the select...Posted in Find/Replace/Regular Expressions

- Hello! Does anyone know if you can delete leading spaces from the column select/cursor position, rather than the start of the line? What I would like to do is: use column mode, select a no-width column somewhere in my text over several lines, then delete all spaces to the right from the cursor/selec...Posted in Find/Replace/Regular Expressions

- Thanks Mofi, you are the best. It was a standard tsql uew that I installed, so I hope your changes can be made available to other users. What a great forum this is.Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- I can select another language, although sometimes I have to select it twice before it works. I cannot select No Highlighting no matter which language is selected first. I have also just noticed that the language shown on the bar doesn't always correspond to the highlighting currently in use!Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Hello Mofi UE version 24.10.0.24. It does not matter which file type I try with, it will not allow the No Highlighting option to be selected. ZIP archive file with wordfiles and sample *.sql file deleted by Mofi.Posted in Syntax Highlighting

- Thanks Mofi, I thought I still needed to have the SQL extension in the MySQL wordfile, as I need to edit MySQL files, but I can see now that I can select MySQL from Coding > View as language and it will accept the syntax highlighting when editing a MySQL file, even though SQL is not now in the MySQL...Posted in Syntax Highlighting
