Yeah that's funny deadlock: UE does not support iso-8859-2 encoding but supports windows-1250. On the other hand php multibyte conversion functions does not support windows-1250 but support iso-8859-2.

Hello, when I edit UTF-8 encoded file, the file size that UltraEdit displays in status bar is twice inflated than its actual size (number of chars*2+2(BOM?)). Is there some setting that can turn this off?
