IDM responded to my email, mentioning that UE 26.10 has fixed this bug. There was also released UE 26.00.0.74 shortly before release of UE 26.10 with a fix of this bug.

I am facing a very similar issue with UE 26.00.0.72 on Windows 10 x64 release 1803. I have reported it to IDM support.
