When trying to update UE to the most recent version, the install progress bar stops at 2% and I get a message that UE is up to date. However, UE the update was not successful. UE is still  31.1.0.32. Any thoughts? ue.jpg

When checking for updates, my UE and UltraCompare installations state that "No update available at this time" even though newer versions are available for download on the UE website. Why is that?

Response from support: This issue occurs when the Find dialog is floating (undocked) but doesn't happen when the Find dialog is docked.

The regular expression builder does not add to content already entered in the Find what text box In UltraEdit 2022.0.0.102, but always starts from scratch. In the Replace with section it works as usual.

Mofi     Many thanks for this hint!  Indeed, using the full path name  seems to make a difference. I have changed the external editor string in my "commander" application accordingly; let's see if this entirely removed the issue.

Many thanks! Not as perfect as I am used to, but better than doing everything manually. If the "Add help files" dialog would include a mechanism to link a help file to a file spec, then UE could select the proper file automatically instead of the user doing this for each and every invocation.
