I got the following response from UltraEdit support. Thank you for your message. There is a bug that is causing this issue. I have asked our developers to investigate and correct and I'll be sure to let you know when we have an updated build that resolves this issue.

UltraEdit suddenly spell checks entire document not just selected text. How do I fix this? Thanks In advance!
