Thank you for the reply. I was reading about Dockable  and thought that may be it as well, but there is no settings that use that term on the Mac or within Preferences for Layout. See the screen shot of the Preferences for Application Layout for the Mac.

After updating UltraEdit MAC to v2023.0.0.22, my file tabs started moving to what appear to be different horizontal and vertical workspaces on the screen.
