hi microsoft vs 2003 (and probably 2005 although I've not used that much) has a great column/block select mode - you first press and hold shift and alt, if you then cursor left or right you'll enter column select mode - cursor up or down will then block select - the block column mode is only active ...

hi is it possible to copy the current line without having to make a selection (ie. ctrl+c copies the whole line at the cursor if something isn't currently selected) ? thanks Jonathan
