- I see that the font color for current line highlighting is working if the font doesn't already have applied a new color. I'll consider asking IDM for a feature request to add a flag that toggles "force the requested current line font color."Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I didn't know IDM that sort of snapshot file (so to speak) of the themes. So when IDM updates the prior unmodified settings in the standard template file, the user using a modified standard will see their own modified changes (as before) and the other IDM changes in the newly modified standard setti...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- That's interesting. Now they are showing. I had selected Twilight theme already, when I posted this thread, but the View As was disabled. After fooling around with replicating my color schemes, I must have in inadvertently turned them on. My wordfile is where it originally was before the upgrade /ho...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I usually have my current line with a foreground/text color of light yellow and the background color of dark purple. That's what I've selected in the theme. Only the background color is changing. I could understand that the normal font coloring is trying to stay in place. However, since my current l...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I upgraded from UEX v15.10 to v16.1, but while I can choose from a selection of nice eye-pleasing themes, I cannot select from the View As (Highlighting File Type). It is disabled/grayed out. I read through the portion of Mofi's syntax highlighting sticky on that forum, as to the latest changes for ...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- Solved! With the help of Troy from IDM, I found the issue. I had used the IDM page instructions except that I installed to /usr/local/uex/ and created the new uex file in /usr/local/bin/. Instead of the suggested uex shell script file contents: #!/bin/sh export UEXROOT=/usr/local/uex/uex_2.3.0.9 $UE...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I am running Mepis 11 with KDE and I have set up the menu item for UEX to load any files I select and right click via the following command: uex -- %f This does not work there, nor does it work from the command prompt when feeding it a literal file. I generally have to drag and drop the files into U...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I just encountered the same error. My Windows version of the script is similar to yours: .\versions\$n_$Y$m$d_$H$M_$u$e Once I tried the following in UEX: ./versions/$n_$Y$m$d_$H$M_$u$e It removes the forward slashes too. Similarly to you, I just want a version backup folder in the same directory th...Posted in UEX General Discussion

- I would like to suggest a way to use regular expressions inside the /C1, /C2, /C3, etc. sections. The language we use most with our work is Foxpro, which notoriously reuses keywords. For example, "alias" is both a function and a flag for the "use" command. If I had all of my commands and flags the c...Posted in Syntax Highlighting
