I received a hotfix for 17.30 to test. I have been using it for a few days and it does solve the issue. My guess is this will be pushed out soon for everyone.

I have tried 17.20.0.1013 and the issue with find in files now works as prior versions. I also like the active column feature of this version.

This is known issue that our developers are aware of and working to resolve. We hope to have this fixed in a future release soon. In the meantime, I am going to reinstall 17.10.0.1010.

If the colors were in a separate file then the wordfile could be updated by us (or IDM) without causing the colors to change.
