I'm very sure that IDM is developing a Linux version, but only God knows why - Linux crowd expect things for free. I wish IDM would concentrate on making UE a better Windows editor, 'cause even in its native environment UE is facing very stiff competition from (very deserving) freewares.

I think this is a dot increment, not a major improvement to warrant a new full revision. IDM, you really have a captive audience here but don't take us for granted or think we'll upgrade just to have the latest number.

I think there is a TWEAK-UI option (in Microsofts free Powertoy-tools, see there) that can do this "Unix-feature". I don't know if it also works IN MDI-applications like UE too ... Tweak-UI works for explorer.exe (ie. Window's GUI shell), not inside an application.

Currently, I have to click into the (sub-) window in order gain focus (eg. select text, scroll, etc). Is it possible that just by bringing my mouse pointer into the (sub-) window, I can scroll it using the mouse's wheel?

Is it possible to do the inverse of selecting "Hide/Show Selection" where all the text not selected should be hidden? In a large text file, I'd like to be able to work on only a small segment of it and not worry that I may modify some other text.

Mofi, I think you misunderstand the requirement... The double quote is normally a delimiter. However, when prepended with a backslash, it's not a delimiter anymore. That's the problem! It seems that syntax highlighting implementation is grade-school programming level in UE - it's completely language...

I've downloaded latest TCL wordfile however, the highlighting engine is treating '\"' as a string delimiter, where as obviously it isn't (I think in any language). [It's strange that freeware like Crimson Editor (which is quickly catching up to UE as super-fast WIN editor) can do a much better job.....
