UltraEdit, UltraCompare, UEStudio forums

Since UltraEdit v12.20 the location and name of the INI file UE is working with can be found under Advanced - Configuration - Application Layout - Advanced .

Sent information to UE and they tell me they do not have this problem. It is killing me with lots of instances opening up. Maybe with some other folks letting them know this is really a problem. I tried a complete uninstall and removed registry settings. Problem is still here. Thanks, Steven

I have eveything as you suggest and the dll is correct also, but something has changed. I used to be able to type in a dos window --> uedit32 and I would be back in the instance already open. Now I get multiple instances. Also if I type --> uedit32 x.txt It starts a new instance (always now), never ...

I somehow moved the file tree view in 15.00.0.1046 and am not able to get it back on the left like it was. This is very frustrating. I keep see all sorts of arrows show up, but it will not dock on the left side whe the open file tabs on the right side. Help.

There is another editor, not to name names, but one you install it, you have the option to create a mobile edition from the editor itself. Maybe UE should consider this route.

The list I first created contained lots of scripts. I noticed some only had ftp or whatever I needed on commen...

Since I am going through lots of files and subdirectories, would a macro work or is this a script job? And thanks, that is what I get for using another tool :D to create the regex.

It seems to capture "ftp " as well as "ftp.bat" I also tried to capture all non-space or tabs after the ftp... and I found that this seems to work. Is there a better way. I want each...

I see 20,000 * 1,000 = 20,000,000 and 1,001 * 20,000 = 20.020,000 :D
