- Hi Marc, 1st I am no syntax highlighting specialist at all. But the hint collides with the Block Comment On = /* Block Comment Off = */ setting because the + sign is recognized as one possible content of the comment. And the content of the comment is no more interpreted once again by syntax coloring...Posted in Syntax Highlighting

If I have a file like this: bblabla mmgla lalala blubb blubb lala blubb kjf another lala blub end and I do a regexp-search with ^(?:(?!%lala%).)*$\r\n and "list lines containing" checked, i get all lines displayed. - You won't get lucky trying to find a solution with any regexp-approach NOT finding sth. So you might write a small macro that goes through the code line by line, examine that line and if "string not found" then append to "clipboard 9". So you can collect all lines without the string and paste them t...Posted in Find/Replace/Regular Expressions

- If a clean install is made, 13 seconds sounds huge... There should be sth. else wrong here. Since it is a clean install, printer or ftp-settings can't be the case. Maybe you can watch the startup with the sysmon-tools (or so) Mofi described here many times to find out more. On my new hardware UE 14 ...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hi todd, Unfortunately the script is quite hard based for aligning ONE character. For more I would also have to think about more and I don't have the time right now, but will do that enhancement as soon as possible. But I disabled the feature "move to left one columns" ;-)Posted in Scripts

- Hi guy, well, I think this is one of the rare times I know a bit more than Mofi ;-) You can always open UE maximized by choosing: advanced, configuration, Application layout, Miscellanious. There toggle: "Always open editor maximized." It also overrides the possibility the definition in a desktop ln...Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- Hi Mike, ok, it's turning to midnight soon, so here is a short Macro to do the date-conversion. You can merge it to the macro above: InsertMode ColumnModeOff HexOff PerlReOn Top Find RegExp "\-([1-9])([-])" Replace All "-0\1\2" Top Find RegExp "\-([1-9])([ ])" Replace All "-0\1\2" Top Find RegExp "(...Posted in Macros
