- Hi Dave, thanks for the response! Just to be clear, I am using 11.00a+3, and the project window I am talking about is view with: Views | Views/Lists | File Tree View | click Project tab Interesting, because even when I expand this out to max, I still see the full popup showing file name, path, last ...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hi All! I have started to use the project functions and I like it a lot. At work we have very large projects and use Websphere Studio Application Developer, which is rather clunky when you only wish to know about 5 to 10 files out of the 200 or so in the larger project. UltraEdit has come gallantly ...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hi All! I want a macro that can act like control+shift+leftArrow or control+shift+rightArrow. If no text is selected then I want it to start selecting, but if there is already text selected then I want the macro to extend/reduce the selected text appropriately. Here is my very simple macro so far: I...Posted in Macros

- Thanks Mofi. I found my Uedit32.ini, renamed it as you suggested, nuked the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IDM Computer Solutions] key and got the same thing - opening files with Uedit from context menu doesn't bring UltraEdit to the front but just flashes the icon in the task bar (although when I go t...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hello! I exported and removed the key, then renamed uedit32.ini to something else (Rob - did you look in the C:\Window directory?) On W2K - I checked C:\WINNT as well as Program Files and found no uedit32.ini file.. Rob :)Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hi Mofi, I have my "convert the file to DOS" setting already on "automatic" so I do not think that is the issue. I tested opening files from Windows Explorer by "right click | UltraEdit" with UltraEdit in three states, with the following results: - UltraEdit minimised: UltraEdit comes to front. - Ul...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- Hi All! I have just installed UltraEdit 10.20.. When I right click on a file and select "UltraEdit", it opens the document but instead of bringing UltraEdit to the top it just flashes the UltraEdit icon in the taskbar, forcing me to switch manually to the app. Is there a way to change this behaviour...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion
