- You need to add the "EnableCFByIndent" keyword to the first line of the wordfile you are using to highlight the text files you are editing. Cheers, FrankPosted in Syntax Highlighting

- So that's different from UltraEdit where it's simply called Command Palette in the key mapping list.Posted in UEStudio General Discussion

- It appears to be a bug or something overlooked in the current UEStudio build. Checking the configuration key mappings dialog there is no Command Palette command listed in UEStudio, whereas there is in UltraEdit. You'll need to report this to IDM support. Cheers... - I think this is a fairly standard key combination, so don't believe it's documented within UltraEdit. The webpage Most used text editing keyboard shortcuts has a list of the commonly used keyboard shortcuts for text editing. If you are looking for any of the UltraEdit or UEStudio configuration setti...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- It sounds like you want to split the window vertically to have 2 files shown side by side. This can be done easily by clicking on a file tab and dragging down into the edit window, see power tip Vertical & Horizontal Split Window . Cheers... FrankPosted in UEStudio General Discussion

- As far as the file associations go, I think that as you are doing an install on a new OS that you'll have to set things up there again manually. As far as the license goes, on your old machine, when you have UE open, if you are running in ribbon mode, click Support/About, and the "About" dialog that...Posted in Configuration/INI Settings

- Hi bsmither , I note with a great deal of interest your comments about the slowness of the latest version of UC (V16.00). Ever since I've upgraded to it, I've had the same problem. It can be very slow, and the response is inconsistent. Sometimes it appears to go as fast as it did previously, and oth...Posted in UltraEdit General Discussion

- I only use UE for Windows, so I can't guarantee this will be correct, but assuming you are using the current Mac release, I believe you should be able to click the View menu, then select Themes , and then Manage Themes . From here you should be able to change your colors from the Syntax tab. Cheers....Posted in UltraEdit for Mac General Discussion

- I've had a further update from IDM this morning regarding this issue. It's not a bug but rather a deliberate change on IDM's part. This is the response I received from them. Thank you for your continued patience regarding the issue associated with dragging a file tab to create a new group of tabs. W...Posted in Editor Display

- Your best option is to contact IDM support on the "email us directly" link above and ask them for a copy of UES 15.30.0.15 respectively UE v22.20.0.40. This version of UES respectively UE does not have the problem that UES 15.30.0.16 and UES 15.30.0.18 and UE v22.20.0.43 and UE v22.20.0.49 have, whi...Posted in Editor Display
