Prior to version 11 Ultraedit toolbar could be modified to include a button that when clicked would immediately change the syntax highlighting scheme for the current file. That setting was very helpfull, with just one mouse click you could adjust highlighting on files without extensions.
Unfortunately version 11 seems not to allow you to put these commands onto a toolbar. They are available for menus, but not for tollbar customization. For toolbar you can only choose the group syntax button that brings out a submenu - this is not what I am looking for, too many clicks and too vague an icon. Does anyone know a way to modify your toolbar to display the individual syntax selection buttons?

You can add everything from the menu also to toolbar in UltraEdit v11, because the menu and toolbar configuration files are now pure text files.

So look for the commands you need in the menu file uedit32.mnu and copy it to the toolbar file uedit32.tbr. I think you need the commands ID_VIEW_AS_FILETYPE1, ..., ID_VIEW_AS_FILETYPE20 and ID_VIEW_AS_FILETYPENONE. The icon could be a problem, because this commands do not have an icon by default.
