Position the cursor at the top of the file.
Turn on Column Mode
menu:
Column > Insert Number First Number 1, Increment 1
You could also use Column > Insert/Fill first to put one or more spaces at the start of each line before the line numbers - or a regex Search/Replace would do the same thing.
