Template quick keys

Hi everyone,

I am beginning to use the Advanced>Display/ModifyTemplates... and Insert Templates portion of UE. The question that I have is that when I go to insert a template, I find myself having to go back to the mouse to scroll down the list to get the entry I wish to insert. And if I do not want to use the mouse, I can enter a number from the keyboard and it will take me closer to the entry I wish to use, but I still have to go back to the mouse.

Example, If I want template 14, I can hit alt+A and then 1 but that gets me to 1 and from there I can not get to 14 without scrolling.

Is there a dialog/Tool box that will display all entries in the Templates section so I do not have to scroll and see only a few entries at a time? or how can I issue a specific number template with out having to go to the mouse to scroll?

You can assign hotkeys individually for all 50 templates which is the fastest method for inserting a template. See Key Mapping in the configuration dialog.

You could also use the template list - see View - Views/Lists - Template List. But currently there is no hotkey to set the focus from the edit window to the template list or I don't know the key.

Great, Until they come up with a hotkey, this Template list was just what I was looking for. Thanks!
