Hi everyone,
We wanted to give our community a heads-up about a new independently published book that recently came to our attention. It's focused entirely on UltraEdit, exploring its features, workflows, and practical tips for power users and newcomers alike—in fact, it claims it’s the first book published about UltraEdit. (And as far as we know, that's true!)
While this isn’t an official UltraEdit publication, our very own Ben Schwenk and Troy Pennington have provided technical help for this ebook.
We thought some of you might be interested in checking it out.
From what we've seen so far, it covers a wide range of use cases—from getting started with the editor, writing macros and customizing the UI, to working with large data files and scripting. This might be useful for spotting some newfound features that you haven’t had the chance to try before.
If you do take a look, we’d love to hear what you think—whether it’s useful, how accurate it is, and whether you'd recommend it to other users. Come back and share your thoughts in this thread!
Here’s a link to the book if you’re curious: https://www.amazon.com/Mastering-UltraEdit-Functions-Possibilities-Flexible-ebook/dp/B0F2H925QK
