FWIW, my UE 12.00a+1 DOESN'T tell me there's an update available. It was only this posting that told me it was there...

Anybody else see this problem?

I just tried installing 12.10 on a Win2K box and I get:

The procedure entry point GetCPInfoExA could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Anyone else see this?

Installed okay on XP SP2. As a beta tester, I was running the release candidate - no notice of an update to the final version when I clicked the button.

Our second licence is on a XP SP2 box also. I decided to give it a try and it installed OK.

Can anyone confirm the Win2K problem?

Does 12.10 fix the problems with user-defined tools?

With 12.00 it was not possible to add user-defined tools 11-25 to a custom toolbar, and tools tooltips were lost.

There's already a 12.10 hotfix out, I think it corrects the problem.

Prior to the hotfix I got something I've never had before - a complete crash by UE.

Sorry, no! The user or project tools 11-25 can still not be used in custom toolbars.

Got it, tried it, worked! Yeah, I also had the crash!

However, I've now noticed that my Win2K box maybe doesn't show the updates properly. I went back to 12.00a and when I said check for updates, it said 12.10 not 12.10+1 - but perhaps that's by design. Anyone know?
