Win 10 x64, UE 23.20.0.28 German

I miss my line numbers on the left side of the UE windows. Under "Konfiguration - Anzeige - Verschiedenes - Zeilennummern nicht anzeigen" (Configuration - Editor Display - Miscellaneous - Disable line numbers) if removed the tick - but there are no line numbers.

Where I have to check the settings?

The configuration setting Disable line numbers at Advanced - Settings/Configuration - Editor Display - Miscellaneous must be NOT checked to enable line counting on opening a file (not recommended on editing very large files).

• In ribbon mode the option Line numbers must be checked on ribbon View (UE ≥ v23.00, UES ≥ v16.00).
• In contemporary toolbar / menu mode the menu item Line numbers must be checked in menu View (UE ≥ v23.00, UES ≥ v16.00).
• In traditional toolbar / menu mode the menu item Display Line Numbers must be checked in menu View (UE ≤ v22.20 and UE ≥ v23.20, UES ≤ v15.20 and UES ≥ v16.20).

The status bar at bottom displays independent on View option the line number at caret position, except line counting is disabled in configuration. Displaying line numbers is not possible if line counting is disabled.
