    Hello,

    I am using UEm v21.20. I'd like to print line numbers. Print Line Numbers is set at File - Print Setup/Configuration - Page Setup.

    But if there are empty lines, no line numbers are printed. It looks like:

    Code: Select all

    1 package MyPackage;

3 use 5.00800;
4 use strict;
5 use warnings;

7 ....

      I don't know of any configuration setting to control behavior of printing line numbers of empty lines.

        Well, in version 12.x all line numbers were printed :cry:

        Is it a bug ??

          I don't know if this is a bug or a modification made intentionally. I can't even verify that as I don't have any printer installed, whether a real printer nor a virtual printer to create files. You have to ask IDM support by email or another forum member can answer your question.

            On my computer, using version 21.20, the line numbers print for blank lines if the Print Syntax Highlighting box is unchecked. With Print Syntax Highlighting enabled, the line numbers do not print for blank lines. My guess is it's a bug, but you would need to ask IDM.
