Please note that Ctrl+F opens by default the Quick Find dialog window. Press Ctrl+F a second time to open the regular Find window. There can be pressed also Alt+F3 for opening directly the regular Find window instead of Quick Find. Click on the gearwheel button in Find and Replace on tab Find to get displayed the advanced find options. Check the option Regular expressions and select Perl as regex engine to use. It is also possible to get highlighted all occurrences of a selection. Just select a string consisting of one or more words and press Ctrl+. or click on ribbon tab View in second group Highlight on command Highlight all selected. Clicking on this command a second time toggles of the highlighting. The command Highlight all selected is in menu View on using the toolbar menu mode with contemporary or with traditional menus.

The highlighting of a word, selection or found strings can be configured at Advanced - Settings or Configuration - Search - Advanced. Please note that the configuration setting Use persistent highlight all must be enabled on using a Perl regular expression Find for highlighting all occurrences of strings found by the expression. Click on button Help on opened configuration dialog window for information about the settings in that configuration window.
