How to apply syntax highlighting to *.lv*

    Hi all,

I have an issue where I need to add files as *.lv1 through *.lv12 in addition to some other extensions for the same language. The problem has arisen where I have run out of space for additional extensions.

From the 16th extension and on they don't get the syntax highlighting. I've tried "File Extensions = LV[0-9]" and "File Extensions = LV*"; the former does not work and the latter translates as "File Extensions = *".

    Anyone have any ideas?

Wildcards are not possible for the file extension specification except the * for default highlighting. Simply copy the whole syntax highlighting block for LV* to a second language number, distribute the extensions over both identical syntax highlighting definitions and use the same color settings for both language settings. Not a perfect and pretty solution, but it should work.

Thanks Mofi. I had thought of that but I was hoping that there would be a more elegant way.

        Thanks again.
